A New Yorker for over thirty years, Steven Davis is now highly featured in the pages of some of fashion's most prestigious magazines. Known for his chic, hard fiberglass corsets, Davis' designs have appeared in over 100 fashion magazines including Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, Paper Magazine, and L'Officiel, to name a few. The list of celebrities who have been photographed in his designs also include legendary Supermodels Heidi Klum, Helena Christensen, Nikki Taylor, and Tyra Banks also Pose actress Angelica Ross, UK pop star Jesse J, actress Peyton List, H.E.R., and E red carpet hostess Laverne Cox.

Steven Davis born in rural Mississippi migrated to Dallas, Texas in 1990 where he attended art school at Miss Wade's Fashion Merchandising College. He later received his degree in fashion merchandising and design.

While attending fashion college Steven also became part of the thriving underground Dallas club scene. His creativity ultimately led him to meet up with the famed NYC club kids where he was flown to NY to host the grand opening of one of NYC's most legendary and prestigious nightclubs, Club USA!!

While in NY Steven immediately fell in love with the glitz and glamour of The Big Apple!!!

Shortly after his visit he immediately found himself moving to NY and being thrust into it's famed nightlife where he became a fixture of it's thriving underground club scene. Hosting weekly parties at the hottest tickets in town the likes of Club USA, Limelight, Palladium, The Tunnel, Twilo, and Webster Hall this became an integral part of his design inspiration and creativity.

Later he then teamed up and eventually joined the House of Field, which was founded by legendary "Sex and the City" stylist and costume designer Patricia Field. One of Davis' many talents also was that of a wig magician where he later became head stylist and buyer for her famed boutique!

Steven also collaborated with emerging downtown fashion brands like "The Blonds" and his longtime pal and fellow designer Richie Rich's brand "Heatherette"!!

Steven eager to learn more eventually went back to school to continue his education at NY's famed Fashion Institute of Technology where he studied menswear.

After studying at F.I.T. briefly he officially launched his namesake fashion brand Steven Davis New York and his streetwear brand V.O.N. Now an entrepreneur, Steven not only creates his designs but also runs his online business which is set to officially launch Spring 2024.
